BACKGROUND

BACKGROUND

We build USA-made pickup truck accessories for stores and organizations.

Challenges:

  • Although majority of the traffic was coming to the site on mobile devices, mobile conversion rates were significantly lower compared to desktop.
  • A busy development team consumed by internal projects and did not have time to work on improving the site.
  • The marketing & development teams did not have background in running experiments.

THE CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Invesp?

We were scaling our company, so we constantly had to deal with increasingly difficult customers.

As a result, it was important for us to expand our user acquisition performance marketing with efficiency so that we could continue converting those folks. By doing so, we could aggressively continue expanding our acquisition funnel.

Solutions:

  • Comprehensive conversion audit to Identify and prioritize conversion issues
  • Comprehensive user behavioral research to understand user motivations
  • Comprehensive data analysis and analytics configuration to track users’s activity on the site
  • Identify and run experiments on different parts of the site to improve conversion rates, average order value, and revenue per visitor
  • Design, develop and run AB experiments on the site
  • Track & report results on weekly basis to the team

THE SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Invesp provides conversion rate optimization services. As such, the team is helping us with A/B testing on our site. In addition, they’re assisting us in figuring out what our customers really care about — identifying their journey and determining how our product impacts them and what triggers them to actually buy.

What is the team composition?

We’re probably working with five people from Invesp, including designers, project managers, backend developers, and more. They’re the people who figure out what tests we should do to manage our relationships. They also help us design the tests we need to implement and execute and track the results of those tests.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in July 2021.

THE RESULTS

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
With Invesp’s support, we’ve been able to secure a revenue of over a million dollars.

How did Invesp perform from a project management standpoint?
The team has a fantastic project management process. We communicate through email and Slack, and we also have weekly calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?
Their expertise has been really impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?
They could probably put more things into a broader context. For example, they could tell us that what they’re doing could make a certain difference when combined together. However, I’m not really that involved in the project, so they might be doing this already.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to Invesp and take the time to plan to know the why and what of your project because they’re the best at what they do.
