Background

About iBUYPOWER

iBUYPOWER builds and sells custom gaming PCs. The company is based in City of Industry, California. It sells through its own site to consumers and businesses.

Shoppers can buy a ready-to-ship PC or configure their own. It’s a big purchase, and buyers do their research before they spend.

The challenge

What iBUYPOWER needed to solve

A gaming PC buyer takes time to decide. They want the specs and the options in front of them before they pay.

iBUYPOWER wanted more of its visitors to finish the order. The team also needed a revenue number for each change that it could take to management.

The solution

How Invesp approached it

The work started in January 2022. Ayat Shukairy, Invesp’s co-founder, was the project sponsor. Several people on the Invesp team are gamers, which helped when tests got into specs and builds. The two teams set up a weekly meeting.

Invesp reported the revenue from each winning test, plus a projected annual impact. iBUYPOWER’s digital marketing team reviewed those reports with Invesp, so both sides agreed on how the money was counted.

One change was to the checkout. Invesp proposed a new order for the checkout steps, and iBUYPOWER’s team implemented it.

The results

The impact

$2.2M
in added revenue in 12 months

Over 12 months, Invesp’s work added $2.2M in revenue for iBUYPOWER.

One of the wins came from a test on the mobile product page for iBUYPOWER’s RDY PCs. It lifted conversions 11.83%.

In total, Invesp ran 49 tests for iBUYPOWER.
